Many concrete mixer trucks are structurally designed to include cable control for certain drive components.

Using control blocks (levers) and cables, remote control of the hydraulic pump performance, engine speed, and reversing is implemented.

Depending on the model of the mixer truck, different types of control blocks or levers are used. Drive control blocks can be classified as single (with or without fixation) or double with locking mechanisms.

Operator levers can be positioned either in the cabin or on the vehicle chassis. The advantage of such a system component lies in the high durability of the housing and its sealed design, allowing it to operate under heavy loads, vibrations, and in contaminated environments.

A single lever or control unit with fixation is used to control the performance of a hydraulic pump via a remote control cable.

It is designed to adjust or change the rotation speed of the drum of a mixer truck’s concrete mixer using a dual-action flexible remote control cable. Cables and control levers are generally always in stock at TechnoPrivid LLC warehouses.

A dual lever with a locking mechanism and a rack-and-pinion drive, paired with two dual-action cables, controls the hydraulic pump and engine speed.

For managing the mixer cables of vehicles such as Mercedes-Benz, Liebherr, Iveco, MAN, Kamaz, Tigarbo, MAZ, and others, specialized control cables are used.

The design of these cables differs from classic two-way cable drives. These cables are equipped with specialized fittings to compensate for the angle of rotation.
